The Student Organization Committee (SOC) helps to foster more communication between SGA and student organizations. The SOC representatives recommend recognition of new clubs to the SGA Representative Council, update SGA’s Vice President of Student Activities (VPSA) on the status of organizations, and serve as a liaison between the VPSA and organizations. The SOC is made up of 4 students each representing one of the four categories of student organizations recognized by SGA: Cultural, Academic/Pre-Professional, Special Interest and Performance.
